What personal information is collected?
In creating a Noneaway ID, Noneaway Philippines Technology, Inc. (“Noneaway”) will collect your name, date of birth, address, license number, transfer certificate of title, tax declarations, SSS Number, Tax Identification Number, phone number, email address and password, bank name, bank account number, and/or bank account owner’s name from you. We do not require this information before granting access to our websites, however, you will not be able to utilize certain products, services, or features that require registration or receive materials such as newsletters unless such information is provided. We may also collect details in relation to transactions you make on the Noneaway Platform, and/or information that are necessary to provide the services of Noneaway and facilitate transactions in the Noneaway Platform.
We may also ask you to provide a copy of a document or government-issued ID to verify your identity and location.
From time to time, we may also post user testimonials that contain personally identifiable information on the Noneaway Platform and websites.
Your web browser or client software may also transmit certain geographic information or information regarding your computer (capabilities, hardware and/or software information, cookie information, etc.) to us. We may use this information to generate aggregate statistics about our user community. In addition, Noneaway may use such information for security, system integrity (the prevention of hacking, etc.), or enforcement purposes. Noneaway may also collect IP information, which it may use to determine your approximate location.
Noneaway does not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children under the age of 18, except in cases where the child is the beneficiary of a property being listed or when the circumstances to collect the child’s information is necessary. In such event, we will seek the necessary consent of the guardian/parent before we collect or store the child’s information.
Why do we process your data and how do we use your personal information?
We use the information we collect from you for the following purposes:
We use information in order for us to efficiently deliver our services and to verify the authenticity and identity of you, your buyer/seller, and the real property(ies) listed;
To allow us to provide with the best quality of service and maintain and/or improve the services we provided;
To alert you of new product, services, features or enhancements in our Platform, website or mobile application, this includes, but not limited to: (i) career opportunities; (ii) promotions; (iii) government communications i.e. circulars, memorandumgs; and (iv) other marketing offers;
Develop new services;
Provide personalized services and contents or ads, if applicable. However, we do not share information such as your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that personally identify you with advertisers or marketing firms, unless you ask for.
We also use the information you provide to contact you for any improvements or updates in the platform, site, or mobile application or in cases wherein we need to solve any account related, listing, or platform use issue(s). We may also send notification for any suspicious activity we detect in your account, such as but not limited to an attempt to sign in to your Noneaway ID from an unusual location.
What type of communication(s) may you receive?
From time to time, Noneaway may send you offers and updates via the email address or phone number you provide thru newsletters and other marketing materials. This notwithstanding, you may opt out in receiving these offers and updates by notifying us of your intent to stop receiving these kinds of communication.
Based upon the personal information identifier you provide us, we may send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you for any requests or inquiries you may make in our platform, site, or mobile application.
Who is collecting your information?
When you provide information to Noneaway Platform, website, or mobile application, you are sharing that information with Noneaway.
Occasionally, Noneaway may use third party contractors to collect and process personal information on its behalf (i.e cloud servers within or outside the Philippines).
In addition, some information may be provided with partner companies, such as but not limited to marketing firms, advertising agencies, and other financial institutions. Please be aware that we cannot control all of the activities of third parties to whom we provide data, and while we cannot guarantee that they adhere to the same privacy and security procedures as Noneaway, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that these third parties will sufficiently protect your personal information.
If available, please be aware that advertisers with links to and from our websites may collect personal information about you. This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and cannot control the activities of, those other advertisers or websites. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any advertiser or website you visit.
With whom may your personal information be shared?
Noneaway may enhance or merge the personal information collected from Noneaway Platform, websites, and/or mobile applications and be shared to third party partners and vendors in order to update your contact information, perform market analysis, improve our products, services, or systems, or for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information identifier if we are required to do so by law. We may also disclose your information to law enforcement or in civil litigation in connection with the enforcement of our rights or your legal. We also reserve the right to disclose your personal information, if in good faith, we believe that it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.
As with any business, your personal information is an asset of Noneaway and will become part of its normal business records. With this, we may disclose your personal information to a third party in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar event, your personal information may be transferred to Noneaway’s successor or assign.
What is Noneaway ID?
Noneaway ID is your online account exclusively used within the Noneaway Platform, website, and/or mobile application. By creating your Noneaway ID, your full name will be visible to other Noneaway users in the platform and they will be able to contact and communicate with you.
Noneaway does not tolerate spam and malicious marketings and/or advertisings. Any invalid, malicious, violative use or misuse of the Noneaway ID shall be acted upon accordingly, based on the Noneaway’s Terms of Use. Noneaway, upon its sole discretion, may disclose or share conversations to any third parties and/or government bodies or agencies for purposes of pursuing criminal, civil, and/or administrative action(s) due to the misuse of the Noneaway ID, its Site, Platform, and/or Mobile Application.
What do you do if you want to access, correct or delete your personal information?
If for any reason you are concerned with the way we are using your personal information, or would like to access, correct or request that we delete such personal information, please contact us by e-mailing hello@noneaway.com. We will respond to any request in a timely manner.
In some cases, we may not be able to delete your personal information and will retain and use the information as long as necessary to:
Protect our business, systems, and users from fraudulent activity;
Address technical issues that impair functionality;
For scientific or historical research; and/or
Comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and/or fulfil our internal purposes reasonably related to your relationship with us.
Why do we collect location information?
We collect information about your location when you use our services, which helps us verify that you are within the Philippine jurisdiction engaging in real estate activities and to allow us to offer relevant features and advertisements based on your location.
How secure is your personal information?
The security of your personal information is important to us. Noneaway takes seriously the confidential nature of your data and observes a range of security measures designed to protect your personal information and keep it confidential (unless it is non-confidential by nature i.e. information already publicly available). We also take steps to ensure that the personal information collected is protected from misuse and alteration.
We also take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties to whom we transfer any data will provide sufficient protection of personal information, by reviewing, and if applicable or allowed, auditing their system security. However, the Internet by its nature is not a secure environment and the nature of security risks is constantly evolving, as area the technical and organizational industry standards relating to management of those risks. The complete security of any personal information collected, stored, or used by us or our partners cannot therefore be guaranteed.
How long do we retain your data?
Personal information and other relevant data, cookies, etc., that we collect are retained in our servers indefinitely. However, at the sole discretion of Noneaway, personal information and data we collect may be deleted from our servers at any time without due notice. The deletion of any personal information or data are being done within the standard industry practice.
